Good points:
Corsair AX1200i 1200W comes in a velvet like bag so it feels luxurious when you unpack it, lots of cables and a nice box shaped bag to keep the ones you dont use safe. I havnt heard the fan yet as it doesnt kick in till it reaches 40% load about 480 watts and my system doesnt currently get anywhere near 40% load so it's very quiet. The Corsair link software worked fine on my new Asus mainboard and it tells me that the PSU is 99% efficient, maybe i should point out that the software readout for the CPU is usage % and not temp, i mention that cus i did in fact think that the software was faulty when i saw what i thought was a CPU temp of 1 deg ;p. I lied when i said i hadnt heard the fan i did hear it a couple of time prior to installation when i pressed the self test button (think the self test only works when nothing is connected to the PSU's output). Nicely sheathed PCI and main power cables, I think i heard some complaints about cable length but my power supply is bottom mounted in a full tower case and the cable length seamed perfect.
Bad points:
it's a little longer than most unit's maybe an issue for some. The MOLEX and sata power connectors are daisy chained 4 to a cable (maybe a plus point but think i would have preferred single connector cables for cable management but not a biggie) and i guess i should call them 4 pin connector as i dont think the industry use's MOLEX anymore and maybe i'm being picky but this often means the pins in the 4 pin connectors are a bit loose and therefore harder to make the connections (that was a rant) but the reciprocal connector in my case arnt MOLEX either so i cant point a finger at Corsair ;p

Jivanjit,

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
- an increadbily well present PSU with a bucket load of spare components.
- solid performance when used with a system with low amp draws
- excellent customer support
Bad points:
- this PSU is touted as a single 12v rail, 100amp unit. It isn't. At all. In fact it's a series of 4-6 12v rails with a maximum current output of around 18amps each.

-very high draw units (read: the AMD R9 295x2) are simply too much for this device to handle. I assume that it attempts to distribute loads to simulate a 100amp device, but absolutely cannot cope as advertised.

-if you're looking at pairing the card I've mentioned with this PSU, don't. That said, it has worked beautifully under loads with basically any lower draw cards I've tested this with.
