We buy these only for the high speed which can be set up to 1000 frames per second. It helps diagnose high speed machinery! Love the cameras.

Good points:
Very fast for a point & shoot style camera. The high speed shutter is impressive. Up to 40 still images in one second!
Bad points:
Casio has discontinued this product. :(
Battery life is shorter than my other Casio but I contribute that to the high speed processor.
Battery life is still pretty good.

Good points:
Many useful features. I now tend to use the HDR feature more than most others. It's not like true HDR, which can look overdone, it just gives good balanced images, retaining detail in highlights whilst showing good detail in shadows. The Art HDR I find a real laugh. I can't imagine where any shots taken in that mode would be really useful, but if you want to take a shot of something and make it look like it came from another planet, that's the option to use!
The Panorama setting works very well, even indoors in poor light.
The most impressive feature though is the macro. I also use a Canon 7D with a professional macro lens and this one isn't that far behind !
You may note I only scored the camera 7 for image quality. Because I use a DSLR camera I'm used to high quality images. I doubt I'd give any compact more than 7 out of 10. Provided your not going to want to crop your images too far you should find the out of camera shots to be good enough to print to at least A4.
The shutter lag feature also works well. This allows shots to be taken before you've finally pressed the shutter. In fact most of the best shot features work well.
This camera was to replace an earlier Casio Model I bought last year. That one somehow got a damaged lens. It says something for my regard for this camera that I was quite happy to replace it with the current version of the same make and model. This time I've taken out accidental insurance!
Bad points:
Not many I can think off! Of course I'd like better image detail without the obvious signs of noise reduction. That's not going to happen with this type of camera for some time yet.
The Art HDR mode. Good fun, but to me pretty pointless.

Good points:
The camera has the features I was wanting. I am not a professional so the auto features are great. The slow motion movies has been quite a bit of fun also. The picture quality is very good.
Bad points:
It is always difficulty to write instructions for everyone to understand completely. I feel this owners manual could have the diagrams drawn clearer and verbiage that describe the functions use better written.
