Score 8.0/10
Good points:
It's quick, simple and easy to start recording immediately. It transfers its data to the computer perfectly and without any need to buy additional software. It's like a plug'n'play device. Obviously you'll need to get yourself some decent editing software to make your film into home movies, etc.
Bad points:
Indoor filming can result in a slightly reduced picture quality but then again, at that price range, which camera wouldn't?!?! The biggest annoyance is the motor to wind the tape. It makes quite a whining noise while recording. This is captured in recordings, so consequently in playback you hear the whining noise... don't get me wrong, the voices/ambience noise you're recording is always louder, but the whining can always be heard in the background.
