Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Very light and compact making it perfect for travelling. Easy to read in the sun and easy to read in general, choice of font sizes is good. Comes with a great leather (ette) case to keep it safe. Can be charged using it's USB and your iPhone charger which was a plus on holiday.
Bad points:
Poor selection menu when searching for books, battery is good but suddenly runs out without warning!

Good points:
Hold in one hand, fits in a small handbag, variable size of font with clear print and good battery power. No problem with downloading ebooks via Adobe Digital Editions.
Bad points:
Has a tendency to freeze. After connection to PC took almost a day to "unfreeze".

Bad points:
The product is made for the French and German market - not our country. The Ebook store have books that are in french and german to buy but no english, so you have to go online and you are not making a saving. My friend has a kindle and it is so easy to use, this item is not. This is the kind of item where you will leave it gathering dust, because it is not a friendly item to use. If you have the money buy a kindle. I did a comparison between books and I would of saved a bit of money if I had a kindle instead of a bookeen.

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
It will handle a good range of file formats and is easy to use once you have read through the quick start guide. It has a zoom function which is handy if you forget your glasses.
Bad points:
Maybe a bit of a whine but the 150 free books are all 'classics' (Moby Dick, Dracula sort of thing) and in several languages. You end up with about 20 ish classic books and a few chapters from several modern books. However, there are some interesting looking books in the non-english language section so maybe I should learn another language and read them ;-)
