Good points:
Not much more expensive than the 1000VA so this represents very good value for money. It looks good, is neat and tidy and you can set it and forget it! I like the software that comes with it to test it.
Bad points:
None that I can think of.

Good points:
Relatively inexpensive for its capacity. Compact
Bad points:
Hums a bit.
On-off button placed low down on the front. Can be kicked to the 'off' position accidentally if the unit is placed on the floor.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
It does what it says on the box. Belkin's Universal UPS provides a voltage regulated continuous power supply of 1200VA which is enough to run a big tower and its peripherals. It takes over seamlessly when the main supply fails and with its 2 batteries can keep going for at least 30 minutes.
Bad points:
I haven't found any bad points so far.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Very easy to setup and very efficient. Only two days after installing we had a major power outage and this thing worked well. Kept the PC running for a regulated closedown.
Bad points:
Unless you know - the software (Belkin Bulldog) conflicts with Windows UPS monitoring. You need to switch the Windows bit OFF if you want to use Bulldog. But this is not mentioned in the quick start guide. Otherwise - the software seems capable enough to me. It provides much more info than the simple Windows UPS application. But using Bulldog is non-essential to proper operation. It's just a nice extra.
