At 50cm wide, the BD53AW is a great choice if you have a kitchen on the smaller side. It doesn’t take up loads of room so you have more floor space. It’s affordable too, giving you a sleek looking cooker without breaking the bank.
On the hob there are four solid plate hobs, two of which have Rapidlite technology which means they’ll heat up faster than the others. The heat zones vary in size so you have a zone for all of your pans.
The grill is more advanced than most as it has a temperature range from 1 to 5, not just high and low heat. This means you have a more precise heat for grilling fish and meat. It has 28 litres of space which is pretty roomy, and will be a great place to keep for warm.
The main oven has 57 litres of space which, for a 50cm wide cooker, is pretty big. It uses conventional cooking where the heat is distributed from the top and bottom of the oven. You’ll find the top of oven is hotter than the bottom so you can cook dishes at different temperatures at the same time.
Both cavities are fairly easy to clean as they have an enamel coating on the walls. This is really smooth so it’s easy to wipe away any grease and dirt with warm soapy water. The door glass is removable too, so you can give it a thorough clean without struggling to reach awkward corners.
