Also known as: B&O BeoPlay A8
An iconic one-piece stereo that makes your music look and sound beautiful. And yes, it works with all digital devices. With streaming for both Apple and Android, (AirPlay or dlna) docked or cabled use, the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A8 iPod Dock lets you connect to world of premium sound effortlessly.
The BeoPlay A8 features a fully-integrated 70W Class D amplifier for the bass and midrange, with a separate 35W amplifier for the treble unit. When you enter the room the BeoPlay recognises your iPhone or iPad and asks if you’d prefer to hear your music through it instead. That’s how easy steaming is with Apple Airplay.
Two two-way speakers with 4" woofer/mid-range cones and 3/4" tweeters and powered by neodyne magnets provide an extraordinary acoustic range. And as the positioning of speakers in a room will effect how they sound, the BeoPlay A8 has three settings – wall, corner or freestanding – so that your listening experience is always optimal.
The BeoPlay A8 comes with a remote control unit and there’s a dedicated BeoPlayer application on Apple’s app store to let you add a clock function and internet radio via your Apple device. It also comes with a wall bracket for mounting it just about anywhere.
