Good points:
Sturdy product which cooks a large amount of food at one time. Impressed by the folding warming rack but it has a tendency to 'pop out' of retaining holes on bottom of BBQ drum.

Bad points:
Would be good if there was additional height settings for the cooking rack and warming rack.
The product does not allow for smaller pieces of lumpwood charcoal - the fall through the grating and into ash pan. Works best with briquettes (which I don't like) and takes a lot of briquettes to get big enough fire for moderate sized quantity of food.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy to build, we were up and running in under half an hour. It has a large cooking surface and the small shelf at the back is very useful for keeping cooked items warm. The bottom shelf is a useful addition too - not seen on most other bbq's.

Tony, Eastbourne Experienced BBQ cook

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy to assemble and works well for most BBQ cooking. Warm tray is good and ash recovery system keeps you clean.
Bad points:
Takes a lot of fuel for a small cook. The ash grill could have been a bit finer. Takes a good 30 mins before you can start cooking.

David, Newcastle Experienced BBQ user

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
The design is good - it is why I bought it, particularly the size of the grill, the removable ash container and the warming shelf.
Bad points:
The materials and construction design of this AWT BBQ are terrible. This is a flimsy product at best. The 'porcaline coated' protective coating began disintegrating once assembled, before cooking, but too late to return 'unpacked' (only condition for a refund). When bolted together, the whole thing rattled and swayed; when I attempted to tighten the legs, the assembly just fell apart. The design for fixing the legs to the kettle is just flawed - not possible to do so without it wobbling. The metal is too thin to allow the legs to be bolted properly. The lid does not fit snugly and this allows air to enter the cooking area, preventing proper control of heat - it is difficult to cook food evenly as a result. I bought it because of the practical design and the fact it had been discounted from its 'original' price. B&Q produce a similar design for the same sum - not high quality but I expected the AWT one to be better because its starting price was higher. Should have just repaired my trusted Weber that I have had for 12 years.
