Our machine learning algorithms can intelligently detect and track exercises in 3D effortlessly.
Atlas motion detection utilizes aircraft grade sensors to map out your body’s motions. Imagine a painted dot on your wrist that leaves a 3D trail as you move. We track this trail – a kind of inertial sensor fingerprint – and assign it to the correct exercise from our exercise database. From there, your Atlas Wristband communicates with your mobile Atlas Wearables app to relay the analytics that matter most to you.
The Motion Genome Project (MGP) aims to expand understanding of human movement patterns by amassing movement data via our advanced and dynamic algorithms. MGP begins at the Atlas gym, where we are constantly collecting data from participants and improving our algorithm. As Atlas and MGP grows, remote data collection will become feasible and our product will become even more intelligent. The future of MGP lies in providing our community with information used to improve athleticism, reduce chances of injury and promote healthy exercise.
