Good points:
Stylish design. The Cool Comfort feature is useful when using the laptop for extended periods. Superb screen/picture quality.
Bad points:
Experienced some difficulty with the set-up, had to rely on someone more computer savvy to install Windows 2010 over the preloaded 2007 version. The keyboard was set up for use within USA & it took a little time to understand and correct that to UK usage. Once sorted minor problems the laptop works well.

Good points:
This laptop is fast, efficient and has many useful features included in Asus software packages. It was incredibly simple to set up and start using, and the emphasis on continued ease of use is great. When shopping around before purchase I found that it was practically impossible to buy anything at even half the spec of this machine for around the same price, in most cases half the spec cost more than this one did!

Though not advertised as a gaming computer, this laptop is more than capable of handling most modern games with no issues. Day to day general computer use is always fast and problem free. The included software from Asus, along with some Windows Live additions, gives the user most functionality a general home use computer user would ever need... in fact, more than you would ever need, I've uninstalled some but having that choice is always good.
Bad points:
The advertised battery life rarely holds true. I am getting an average battery life of only around two hours. Though this does not effect my use of the laptop at all, I would imagine a longer battery life may be required by many users.

There were some initial issues with the machine not coming out of hibernation or sleep mode properly, though after a quick search around the internet for solutions, a few small power mode option adjustments corrected this problem.

Good points:
Value for money excellent. No waiting around for everything to load up, up and running in less than a minute. Keyboard is very comfortable and light on the keys; great for fast typing.
Bad points:
None really..... Its a little heavier than others I have had before, but I prefer them heavier; less likely to fall off your lap!

Good points:
What the sticker says about its cooling system being stronger than your usual is absolutely true. I keep it on for hours on end and it barely gets warm. I really love that. I mostly use it plugged in, but I have to say the battery seems to last quite long when I have to use it. And the configuration is excellent compared to the price paid for it. The hard drive is huge and it has a Pentium processor where most laptops in this price range only have a Celeron or AMD processor.
Bad points:
I don't like the scrolling system on this laptop's trackpad - there is no scrollbar, you just scroll with 2 fingers. I think it is more practical to have a designated area for the scrollbar because even after a few months I still make a lot of accidental mistakes with it. It's especially incompatible with facebook.
