Good points:
Amazing value laptop that's increadibly powerful, lightweight, beautifully designed, and also has amazing battery life... If you wanted the same features in a Sony Vaio you'd be paying twice the price!
Bad points:
Supplied fingerprint isn't great, i've replaced it with the latest one from upek and it performs massively better.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
i am able to get 10hrs (50% it said 5-6hrs) if i turn everything off (Wifi and bluetooth) , lowest brightness (it is still bright!), and using it for just documents (pdf reviewing or typing).
but you probably be looking at 8-9hrs with general browsing.
compared to the ul30a i had it got 9-10hrs easy with general browsing.

i capped the processor to 50% (with power4gear) and to be honest you wont sense any lag unless you decide to do gaming. 1080p works fine and outputting 1080p (incl flash 1080p) is fine.

very slim design, and the nanometer coating feels very good, you cannot get a fingerprint on it apart from the mouse buttons, display screen and possibly the switches.

has lots of features (bluetooth 3.0 and finger print reader)

funny enough i do not get the heat disappointments that many reviewers has mentioned, i have used HWMonitor and watching 1080p big buck bunny (or miniclips) for 15mins and family guy 3 episodes 1080p (each episode is like 25mins) it only ever reaches maximum 55 degrees Celsius. and everywhere is cool the bottom right is warm but its not warm enough to warm you up. the bottom at this temperature is very warm but not hot. is a sort of thing you like to put your hands under when your hands are cold. i touch the desk and the desk is not hot and hardly warm near cool.

NOTE that this laptop has i5 2430m!!!!
not 2410m so thats a bonus

it is quiet, if your in a very silent room then you can just hear the fan blowing. never heard it blowing hardcore yet.

Bad points:
1/ 1.3mp webcam is sluggish?
2/ design flaw is the top left button (power4gear button) doesnt light up but it looks like it can because its the same design as the power button (i spoke to asus and they said it doesnt light up).

and here are stupid bad points:

doesnt have a disc drive (but if you done your research you would have taken that to account before purchasing, so this is not a con to me)
display viewing angles (i cannot see the screen properly if i sit in an awkward place), maybe reflective but the screen is so bright that it defeats the reflection (even near minimum).
speakers are just typical? (you can use headphones)

the reason why i said the price is 7/10 thats because its the standard price its not a bargain.
however, for this product it is very much worth it. for the spec, brand (my computer components are asus products), removable battery (unlike sony and samsung now built in).
