Matt, Lincolnshire Often on the move

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Fantastic portability
Lovely to type on
Screen is crisp and sharp with nice colours
Processor copes with a lot of stress before it begins to lag
Comes without much bloatwear (minus a few games and pointless programs)
Trackpad is wonderful to use with great surface and buttons are very responsive
Very good build quality, aluminium lid is a lovely finish
It's very, very thin!
2 year warranty and 1 year on the battery.
Bad points:
Low screen viewing angles, this is due to the massively glossy screen. Although the display has plenty of brightness in it to get rid of any glare you may get.
Keyboard does have some flex to it when you press down. But this doesn't not affect the nice layout or typing ability, in fact, I hardly notice it.
Fingerprint magnet, but not the worst laptop for it as the finish isn't full gloss around the keyboard, only the screen, and the aluminium lid is a lovely finish.
No DVD drive is an annoyance, but not a huge drawback, portable CD/DVD drives these days don't cost the world.
This thing is begging for a backlit keyboard, unfortunately, this doesn't have one.

Confirmed purchaser Non average home user

Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Overall ist a 13' below 2kg with up to date CPU and graphic for a resonable price. It really does not get hot. Battery life is OK, but more in the 5h range. It could have been a very good laptop easily, if ASUS would have spend a bit more effort.
Bad points:
The worst part by far is the screen. It is not just the low resolution with just 768 lines, which make even internet browsing difficult, and the fact that glossy screens should (IMHO) be banned from any computer, its colour redering is just muddy and horrible.

Chris, Student, Play, work, move

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Excellent battery life, About 9 hours on battery saving and 6 from normal use.
Extremely lightweight and slim, easily portable
Super fast processor, Can be underclocked through Asus utilities to save battery
Asus Quality is far above all other laptops.
Overall great all round portable laptop, as well as Powerful and the g310m graphics allows for decent framerates in games.
Does not overheat easily.
Bad points:
The design is very lightweight and thin , which also makes it slightly weak in some areas such as the screen.
Some flex on the keyboard which may dissuade some people.
Vertical screen viewing angles aren't great, but what is expected from a mid range laptop
Ultimate fingerprint magnet.
