Nick,

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
As with most low-cost laptops, has only 32GB storage. However, unlike its competitors, it has a standard SATA drive bay inside and for around £30 you can add a 120GB SSD that transforms it. Came with Windows 8.1, but I've been able to install both Windows 7 and 10 on a separate drive and they generally work well (except for Ethernet under 7). Astonishing value.
Bad points:
Worse trackpad ever. Inaccurate and sounds like it has some grit underneath. Best used with an external mouse. Fan comes on a bit more often than I would expect.

Good points:
price is the main selling point for this laptop (netbook) , performance is ok, the 32gig eMMC is a little small. upgrading to windows 10 will require an external storage device (I just used a 64gig USB stick) , then after removing all the junk , compressing the windows system files , minimal office install I have 10gig free .. so its ok and for the price is a real winner just don't expect a high performance gaming machine this is a basic machine for browsing the web and creating office documents.
I also stream games from a xbox one to this device works fine. So if you go want to play high res games , stream them from your xbox one.
Bad points:
the eMMC needs to be 64gig and 3gig of memory would make it better

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Fairly fast processor compared to similarly priced laptops. Can take a laptop drive / SSD to increase storage. Excellent battery life, and power supply is compact (no transformer brick). Very portable compared to larger / heavier laptops that are more like desktop replacements.
Bad points:
2GB RAM is soldered on to the board so this can't be upgraded. 32GB storage makes it tricky to install Windows 10, you need to connect a USB / external hard drive so that the upgrade has the required space. This can be mitigated by installing a laptop drive in the spare bay.

Good points:
Lightweight. The 14" screen makes reading better than smaller netbooks. The fullsize keyboard is easy to use. Ability to install a 2.5" drive is a bonus.
Bad points:
Casing is easily marked when touched.
