Good points:
Very quiet, very low power. Am now going to use this for my home server as well as connected to my telly. The only issue I seem to have is that my TV can't do the 1920x1080 resolution properly!

Linux is possible, but there are hoops to jump through. Here are the steps for Ubuntu 12.10:

- On boot, use the F6 option and specify "i915.blacklist=1" in the boot options to install, otherwise all you will see is a colour-cycling screen.
- When the OS is installed, install *.debs from here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-nightly/current/
- Remove the "i915" boot option from /etc/default/grub that was added in the first step.
Bad points:
Sleep/Hibernate don't work on Linux, but as it's so low-power, this is less of an issue.

Good points:
Small, extremely quiet, powerful enough to run HTPC-type stuff without breaking a sweat.
As said elsewhere, the Win 8 drivers on the Acer site *will* work with Win 7 on this (at least, they have for me so far)

Good points:
I put Windows 7 as I cant stand Windows 8. You can use Windows 8 drivers, the only driver that was difficult to find was the USB3 drivers which I found on the Intel website. All in all an excellent fast little machine that I use as my everyday pc.
Bad points:
Can't get sharp fonts on my monitor, Intel graphics drivers are rubbish.
