Score 9.0/10
Good points:
I've been waiting for a macbook to come out with a high resolution, an SSD in place of a hard disk, and USB 3.0 - I do quite a bit of hobbyist 3D modelling, so it needed some grunt too.

This laptop fits the bill perfectly.

From cold, it takes 16 seconds to get to the login screen, and only a few seconds after that, it's ready to use. Of course, putting it to sleep when not in use is just about instant.

The lack of an optical drive I thought would be problematic - but I can share the DVD drive on my iMac, and this allows me to read any CDs/DVDs as if they were connected to the machine.
Bad points:
It is very expensive, compared to a windows machine of the same spec, but it all works much better together (I've tried a few "ultrabooks" out - and to be honest, they left me quite cold).

Still learning Apple technology after switching from Windows so still a lot to learn but this machine is so much faster than I am used to.
Bad points:
Haven't found any yet. Be nice if it was a bit cheaper, perhaps.

Okay, it is a lot of money, but you definitely get what you pay for here. Robust, quality, stunning good looks.....all outweigh the cost and it only hurts once in the wallet!
