Good points:
Looks good although it's still a big lump of plastic when it's standing there in the flesh. With the hose protruding from the rear you should think about the footprint of a typical filing cabinet as being the space it will require to keep it. Casters allow you to shove it around fairly easily though.
Bad points:
Noise. I thought this was a low dB machine at time of order. However, it's far from that. The pitch and volume at which this thing polutes the airwaves interferes with telephone calls in the office and it becomes very difficult to hear every word of a conversation. Although sweating buckets, my staff asked me to turn the machine off several times because it was getting so irritating.

Cooling Performance: Why is it that the hose extends from the bottom so that you have to drag the thing a metre up the wall to sling it out of the window? That metre of hose is HOT, HOT, HOT and acts like a mini radiator. It pumps out almost enough heat to cancel the cooling effect. The gadgets you receive with this are great for sash windows but are entitely useless for hinged windows which means you have to partially open the window for the hose. That, no doubt, makes the problem worse.

We're in an office that is within the specification for the use of the product.

Good points:
Works extremely well and is well suited to the British Heatweave! Overall its a well proportioned and powerful air conditioner that will chill the living area and will fit in most decors.
Bad points:
The only gripe we have is that when you extend the pipe it is only best suited to windows that have a horizontal opening which that is how the fitment fits in the window. But even if the fitment is placed vertical as the double glazed window opens outwards its still does the trick.

Good points:
Quick, efficient cooling. it also leaves the room smelling better and improves air quality.
Bad points:
Fan noise could be lower, awkward to get exhaust correctly positioned in a window. One of the runners had been damaged to destruction on transport, I could probably have gotten a replacement however I could not be bothered for such a minor thing.

Matthew, High Wycombe Nice and cool now.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Superb cooling power, transformed my south-facing large (4m x 4m ish) bedroom, reducing the temperature to a beautiful 20 degrees in the height of the really hot weeks a couple of months back. Handy supplied 'window-blocking-up-thingy' for allowing the hot air to escape via the pipe through an open window, but not allowing the nasty hot air inside the room.
Bad points:
This unit is never going to be the quietest of beasts, and it could do with the cool air coming out from the front rather than the top (although the angle of the vent on the top can be adjusted to almost a horizontal angle).
