Good points:
does what it says on the tin, fast machine sturdy and pretty reliable
Bad points:
Graphics card has some kind of bug thingy. It freezes with blue speckles all over the monitor sometimes, this is a regular thing. contl alt del doesnt even fix it and a hard boot is required to reset it. But can be lived with overall it is a good machine.

Good points:
It looks ugly... Who am I kidding? It looks stunning and what it has in looks, it matches it with performance. For such a big piece of kit (and it is a mammoth sized computer which will tower over your old computer unless you are fortunate enough to own an Alienware computer already) it runs the toughest, demanding games on the highest settings e.g. Crysis, Flight Simulator with ease and the sound is minimal. Also for the extra money (which it won't allow me to say) go for the 24" monitor as well. It is honestly NOT the best quality I've seen a computer run movies with, but the games look staggeringly sharp and crisp. This comes with an Alienware Windows 7 64bit OS and to put folks minds at ease, this will easily play any steam game you throw at it. I'd be willing to bet it would play all games post-2003.
You will not be disappointed buying this computer as long as you feel you can spare the money to buy it!
Bad points:
Its flaws? Well, these really are minor things, but when you first turn your computer on, until it gets to the windows loading screen, it will sounds like the Hadron Collider is in your room, but the noise quickly dies down. Also, a nice little feature called Alienware Command Center will allow you to change the colour of your alienware pc's sidelights and front lights, from a whole host of colours. Cool right? HOWEVER! I've found on a couple of occasions that when you change the "AlienFX", the computer becomes a bit grumpy and has frozen for me twice. (Not permanently, I've had to leave it for 30 minutes at one point to recover). But of course at the end of the day, it's the performance factor which I was after to play games with, and a few light changes really don't matter as I suspect it won't to you readers either. Also a word of warning, the dimensions shown do not emphasise the size of the computer enough. If you buy this, be prepared to make some room. Although technology is getting smaller, it doesn't mean this machine is any lighter. Prepare to have something sturdy to put it on. DO NOT put it directly on the floor, I did for 2 days and dust gathered on it like you wouldn't believe.

I hope this has been helpful folks! Happy Gaming!

Good points:
It's a Mainframe with a very stylishe look and 4 lights which are custamizable, with a neat Alienware program.
The i7 prossesor has a neat bit of overclocking software, which will allow you to up its prossesing speed from 2.66 to 3.2 in the click of a button.
If you're on a computer every day and you need a computer with performance, this is the one for you.
But be sure you'll be making the most of it.
Bad points:
Its size came as a slight supprise, as it would'nt fit in my computer desk. So be sure you'll have the space for it.
With it having 1 drive (DVD Drive) I asumed it would read cds for me to rip. In the end I found that it would'nt read any cd, so thankfully I had my laptop to rip them, but if you have no other computer be WARNED. It appears to only be compatable with DVD disks.
