Good points:
What a beautiful beast of a machine! It's built with quality & aesthetics as well as a well thought out practical design. It is whisper quiet when running which is amazing for such a large machine (yes,,it is quite big, bigger than the average), the loudest you will hear it is on start up and even then it's not that loud (my Advent T9202 was louder when running). The keyboard is absolute quality and the mouse is so smooth and sleek. You are supplied with a black leather bound manual with the silver Alien head on the front and the actual pages are no cheap paper either, they are a waxed paper. To open up this beauty when it's delivered and to start it up to see what it has is nothing short of orgasmic. Installed you have the Alienware Control Centre where you can adjust your Ambient sensors, fan speeds, bios etc and customize the external colours of the lights on your beasty. I could go on and on about the good points but then i'd spoil it for you if you got one yourself. So, 1 TB Hardrive...6 Gigs of RAM...Superb Graphics card and a silky smooth Processor..the only thing i will say now about it is that i am absolutely in love with this machine and i'm sure you will be too!
Bad points:
Okayyy...there is ONLY 1 bad point and it's not even that bad really, but this machine does not come with a wireless card built in. This beautiful machine has Windows 7 (64 bit) installed, which, as we all know whenever Microsoft bring out a new OS it takes a while for programs to become compatible, so when looking for an external USB wireless adapter that is actually a good one and compatible was hard. I found a Belkin F5D8055ED USB Wireless N Adapter which according to the Microsoft compatibilty site was listed as compatible. It wasn't! But, it is easy to get round. Just plug in your wireless adapter, open up the cd that comes with it and manually install (Windows can't seem to find it) the Vista 64 bit drivers and away you go.

Good points:
Both the desktop and monitor are of excellent quality. The Alienware desktop is a handsome piece of technology and considering all the power under the hood is exceptionally quiet.
Bad points:
None whatsoever.
