Score 10.0/10
Good points:
An excellent compact PC from ACER which sits neatly on the desktop or more "space efficiently" sited on the back of my LG 22 inch TV Monitor . The machine runs extremely quietly and so far is one of the best machines I have owned or used. Excellent.
Bad points:
There are no bad points with the ACER REVO PC at all. I have rated this machine at 10. The fact the software is radically different from that which I am already using does not affect the machine rating on my part.

The software bundle is rated at 3. This is because there is just too much unnecessary clutter in the way of pre loaded 'APPS' for my personal needs - I will never use 90% of the items pre-loaded. Windows 8 is a whole new experience and almost like starting to learn how to use software all over again. Interesting to say the least!

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Small, quiet and sufficient processing power to run as a HTPC. Inbuilt Bluetooth is handy, was able to connect BT mouse and keyboard.
Bad points:
Not managed to get 5.1 audio working over HDMI (but this could be an issue with my AV receiver). 5.1 works fine over optical.

Good points:
Very easy to set up, even for a technophobe like me.
Very small and compact but has everything my big old pc had and more.
Bad points:
No manual. Windows 8 takes a bit of getting used to.
The VGA socket was not the same as in the diagram but an updated one and had to buy an adaptor to connect monitor.
