Good points:
It does what ever i need it to do.

It can easily handle more lower machine intensive games also.
Bad points:
Wifi was flakey but after the updated download wifi driver from acer's website plus turning off power saver mode in the wifi module it works now for me a treat

Good points:
This is a very well put together bit of gear. A lot of reviewers fixed on the abundance of 'pieces', with the caddy, keyboard, case etc all being separate. I don't really see this as a problem to be honest. Considering the compromises in performance you get for similarly priced tablets, having the tablet in the excellent leather case and carrying the keyboard separately isn't much of a hardship. Just use the caddy as a charging stand at home near you tv so you can hook it up easily to watch movies through.

The screen is amazing. Lots of reviewers complaining that the traditional windows screen is too small to use with the touch screen. just turn up the icon size in graphics options and it's fine, in fact it becomes very easy to use indeed.

All in all, it's perfect as a laptop replacement, which is what it is, it's not a media tablet, it's a proper computer, in a very stylish package.
Bad points:
It is a bit weighty, you won't be holding it up for long, you'll end up resting it on something. Which is fine.

this is a point about windows 8, rather than the equipment itself. The 'metro' style interface has lots of little apps that rely solely on the 'libraries', which is fine, until you try to add network storage files to the libraries. Something you would think is a very common need considering the amount of photos, music, video people have, and the small size of storage on these devices.

You can do it, it just takes a ridiculously complicated workaround. Nice work Microsoft, you've ignored one of the most common storage mediums in the world.

Good points:
Really nice tablet, amazing viewing angles and resolution, even the i3 model is very fast, keyboard and basic carry-case included. Runs Windows 8 Pro including compatibility for older apps. Great value for money compared to similar products from other manufacturers.
Bad points:
A bit too heavy to hold comfortably in your hand.
A Bluetooth mouse would be a nice touch.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Great design - metal casing, looks professional and stylish.
Great performance - i5, 4Gb of RAM, SSD gets the job done (I am a Software Engineer) without any problems.
Small and light - I know it is not an iPad if it comes to weight and size (and so many people point it out), but my question always is: can your iPad run all the legacy windows apps, Visual Studio, Photoshop/Gimp, Eclipse/NetBeans etc? Or for gamers: can you play Diablo3 or WoW on your iPad? Because Iconia w700 can do all this things and still you can't really feel anything when you carry it around in a bag/backpack.
Battery life - it gets up to 8 hour easily so you can go to uni/work and not worry about having a charger with you.
- Peripherals - in the box you get docking station, Bluetooth keyboard and a very stylish leather case when you have to take the tablet out. Big plus for that to Acer.
Bad points:
- lack of 3G or stylus - this would be very useful, but after much research I realized that it is very rare to see i5 Windows8 tablet with 3G and stylus (Samsung is doing Ativ Smart PC PRO which has all that, but costs £1000+ for that version)
- For some reason on the docking station there is no converter from mini-HDMI to full size HDMI. This means when I slide the tablet into the dock I still have to connect the monitor separately. Since the mini-HDMI is on the same side as all the docking connectors, this could be easily fixed by Acer. No idea why they did that...
