Good points:
Like a Macbook...only much cheaper. It looks similar, performs just as well....the tracker pad is perhaps slightly less responsive but this machine packs a wallop for the price.
Bad points:
Could perhaps do with a more sturdy, metallic outer shell so you dont carry it around like you're carrying a baby lemur but otherwise a wicked buy.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Very nice clear screen. Keyboard performs well and has the welcome provision of a standard numerical keypad. Not the fastest laptop on the planet but it does have Windows 7 rather than the restrictive Windows 8 which is a big plus for me. I use it primarily for recording guitar so the laptop is permanently connected to the mains supply - hence I am unable to comment about battery life. Windows performance index rating is 5.9 which is more than adequate for my needs:

Processor: 6.3
Memory (RAM): 7.3
Graphics (Aero): 5.9
Gaming Graphics: 6.6
Primary HD: 5.9

The HD is not solid state, hence the lower score, but is fast enough for most purposes. Turning off Aero would likely improve the Graphics score but the 5.9 would remain because of the HD.
Bad points:
I would have liked an additional USB port and also there is no line-in for audio - not a problem, however, if you use equipment that interfaces via USB. Not too keen about the omission of physical right and left click buttons on the touchpad - makes dragging and dropping awkward and a bit of a hit or miss affair which can be quite frustrating. Recommend using a wireless mouse instead but this, of course, uses one of he USB ports.

Good points:
Good performance for price
Bad points:
After owning a different Acer Laptop for the past few years I have to say the build quality on this one deosn't seem nearly as good. Feels rather flimsy. Don't like the touchpad design either - hopefull I'll get used to it!

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Lovely slim design, keyboard feels right, bright screen, not really given the laptop a testing re games or processor hungry programmes so cant comment on this. Boots up quite quickly.
Bad points:
Mouse pad a bit senstive and there is no clearly defined left and right mouse click buttons, still trying to get used to this. Battery life is not great so would not recommend this laptop if you are on the move.
