Good points:
I needed a good Laptop that could access the internet without running at 100% CPU. The laptop performs really well. It's very light, quick on startup. It runs applications really on the 1.6GHZ quad core processor. I run multiple applications and surf the web. I've had internet streaming audio running while accessing the college VLE and I've still got some power under the bonnet. Overall this is one of my best laptop purchases and I have four laptops in total.
Bad points:
The only thing I can fault it on is is you have sweaty hands it will leave a thumb or hand imprint on the matt case. However this not really a fault, but you should be aware.

Good points:
For the price it gives the user what they require. I purchased this unit for my daughter, she's just started high school and so far it has more capability's than she's requires, should last fingers crossed two-three years.

Good points:
Good size and weight. Nice keyboard layout, including numeric keypad, and the option of backlight on or off. Fast start up, handles multiple requests quickly and shuts down fast too. Very good value.
Bad points:
Windows 8 (even with 8.1 upgrade) is not brilliantly suited to a non-touch screen device.
