Score 4.0/10
Good points:
Good monitor and display, nice weight and a good looking machine. Sound is good and clear
Bad points:
Windows 7!! Windows 7 is not compatible with my dongle internet system. Windows 7 is not compatible with much of he software I need to use. The touch pad is off set which makes use very awkward. The laptop is not as user friendly as my previous model a Fujitsu Siemens and although I am fairly pleased with it, I would not whole heartedly recommend it to others.

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Good clear screen and keyboard keys are nicely designed and have good 'feel'. I like the numerical key pad on right - just like a standalone keyboard.
Bad points:
Some keys are too small, particularly cursor arrow keys and 'del' key.

Good points:
When It works it is a semi decent laptop and me saying "SEMI" decent is pushing it.
Bad points:
Acers technical support is non existent so prepared to be missing your laptop for most of the year of your warranty. The screen is dull, sound quality is horrible and the motherboard in mine was set badly TWICE.

Good points:
The good points is the price for what you get, the day I bought it, I had travelled around my area North East looking in several shops but could not find what I wanted (the specs that I wanted) I had viewed this product online previous but could not match it anywhere for the same price.
Bad points:
The battery could last a little longer
