Most helpful reviews

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
+ The computer is quick, powerful and can take anything I can throw at it.
Bad points:
- Sound is clear but a bit thin - better with headphones or external speakers.
- An occassional sound glitch occurs, rare but has happened more than once!!!
- Horrible space bar, you have to hit it in the center or it doesn't work!
- USB ports too far forward for my liking.
- Battery life is better than some but not as good as others.
- No caps lock led indicator.

- - - After two months Acer Service had to replace the motherboard, which has been damaged..!!! A week without a laptop... :-(
- It remains to wait how long it will work after the repair.

Julia, London Student use

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Great new features for windows with the different ways to have access to things quicker, functions very well for all my needs.
Bad points:
The space bar does have a design issue as when you don't hit it hard enough or on the edges it does not work so it is require for you to get used to typing with it. However, you can get used to this.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Fast, great value for money, good amount of hard drive space.
Bad points:
USB ports too far forward for my liking - for a gaming laptop, it means wires get in the way of mouse mobility.

Nathan, andover Editor & Gamer

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Im a editor, I needed to buy a computer or possibly a laptop which is able to multi task and run high end games at ease and i am glad to say that i have chosen the right product here, it is able to play nearly every high end game at high graphics with an averaged of 40-50 fps in games such as Battlefield 3 so for me its a 10/10
Bad points:
The battery life is its only downfall, but like many laptops battery life is always a problem, its good enough for short times without the charger plugged in, but luckily for me I have no need to use this laptop without the charger plugged in, so for me its a 10/10
