Good points:
Copes well with being carted around on photo shoots and travels to far away places. Easy to use, durable and great product.
Bad points:
There is a strange gremlin where a couple of minutes after logging on to the desktop the screen blanks and then comes back on. I think this may be a driver issue but wasn't there originally and can be very frustrating when you are in the middle of reading something and the screen blanks.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Its hard to fault this laptop, it does everything its supposed to. I wanted a truly portable laptop but felt netbooks had screens which were just too small to be genuinely useful. This ultra portable is the perfect compromise between a netbook and a full size laptop.

The only thing that slightly concerns me is the power of the CPU although to be fair I knew the 3810TZG had an ultra low voltage processor before purchasing and since this contributes to the astonishing (genuine) 8 hour battery life I think it’s a fair trade off. The fact is I haven’t noticed the CPU struggling at all in everyday computing tasks and I’m successfully running Paint Shop Pro Photo X3 even though it doesn’t technically meet the minimum hardware spec for this software.
Bad points:
No optical drive (which helps battery life, portability etc) but I can’t say I’ve really missed it
Stupid glossy screen turns into a mirror outdoors but its difficult to find a laptop without a glossy screen these days and this is no worse than any other so...
The resolution (1366x768) is high on a 13 inch screen which causes eyestrain after only a couple of hours - I think the glossy screen exacerbates this - but it's the price you pay for size, portability, battery life etc
