Good points:
delivered on time
Bad points:
It wasn't made explicitley clear that in the advert that the product was refurb as opposed to brand new and the laptop was the same price as a band new one at Tesco.
I only found out it was a refurb accidentally and then when i tried to refund it had to fight tooth and nail to get the full refund back as your company implied I was liable for the software licenses

Tom, Lymington

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good value for the money
Bad points:
The notebook was loaded with Acer software that prevented customised use of the machine. For example, the system prevented the installation of Zonealarm Firewall software, our preferred protection, presumably to prevent owners from moving away from the pre-installed security system (McAfee I recall). In addition, several other programs were loaded that monitor usage and send information back to software producers nd generally slow the machine down. The only wy to overcome the burden of the pre-loaded junk software was to completely reformat the hard drive and to reload Windows Vista with a clean copy. This took ages but resulted in a much faster, more flexible machine. I was left with the impression that the pre-loaded junk software was subsidising the reasonable price of the machie.
