+ Very quiet and gives a warning noise when the wash has finished. Delay the end of the wash. Also you can do what the information booklet describes as "hand wash" which means you can choose the length of the wash cycle, temperature, number of wrinses and spin speed. Also it looks good! Generally and all round machine.

+ This is the first Samsung Washing Machine we have purchased, although it is only a few weeks old, we are very pleased with it. it is the best one so far.

- The soap tray could do with opening a little bit more

+ Fairly quiet lots of wash options to suit every wash

- often takes longer than it should (time) eg cycle should take 1 hr 7 mins but is actually about 1 hr 20 mins

+ Everything- it looks stylish, the large porthole is great for getting pillows and bulky items in and out, the handwash cycle is a godsend, the pre-set programmes makes it easy to get the wash going without having to refer to the instructions, and they can be adjusted to your personal needs. This is a girl thing, but I love the tune it plays when you switch it on and program it. It plays a tune when the wash finishes too so you don't have to keep going and checking it, it shows how long to the end of the cycle on a digital display. It heats up really fast (cold fill only so saves your hot water for that relaxing bath!) Ceramic heating element so no chalk buildup I presume. My last machine was 10 years old so I was a bit worried about buying a new one - silly me, this is great! I love it, It's just fab!! Buy one!!

- If I were to be really picky - the fabric conditioner compartment is a bit narrow. The levelling feet are a bit tight and it took a bit of welly to loosen them. That is being very, very picky though.

+ Simple and easy to use. Massive open fronted drum so easy to put cloths in. Reasonable cycle times, some quick and some long.

- Detergant draw does not pull out far enough, Not as quiet as I expected. You must get the machine level to lower the noise level-(as with all machines). Extremley heavy and therefore difficult to balance the machine. However a very nice machine and I would recommend this product to anyone and continue to purchase any Samsung product.
