+ easy to use

- little noisy but tolerable

+ Well made, good capacity, easy to use, removable freezing bowl, automatic cut off. Makes great ice-cream.

A great gadget, looks very professional too.
It's quite expensive and had I not received it as a thoughtful gift I might have been tempted to a cheaper machine, though I doubt the performance would have been so good.

- Fairly noisy, best to switch on whilst you're out of the kitchen, though not totally unbearable.
Unfortunately whilst the whole machine is extremely robust the clear lid that fits on top has a small crack in it after first time use as it's a bit tricky to get on and off, doesn't seem to affect performance though. Not sure why the paddle is plastic and not metal either.
Rather bulky to have sitting a top the the work surface, but then rather heavy to keep getting it in and out of a cupboard.

- Refridgeration process is a little noisy - but no problem if you can shut the door of the room its in :-s
