Clothes are dried and fluff/animal hair collected on the filters.

- The audio alarm when the cycle has ended is quite annoying.
The release mechanism for the door, which covers the filter and water collector, is located inside the machine's door. I'm not sure how long the button will work for. I prefer the older design which was simpler and more robust.

+ Very large drum, easily takes a full wash load. Much quieter than the previous model. Had a good energy rating.
It was good value for money compared to others. Has a neat anti crease program if it finishes and you don't take the clothes out.

- It beeps too much and is somehow annoying when it does.

Good quality - had a zanussi dryer previously and had no issues, it just reached the end of it's life cycle.
Water dispenser located at bottom which is useful as our dryer is stacked on top of washing machine.

- Timer does not display time left to dry - you set time to dry but timer does not count down.
You have to open tumble dryer door to remove water dispenser.
Alarm to notify you that clothes are dried is slightly annoying - but maybe it's annoying cos it's reminding you of yet more work to be done!

- Only downside is the filter section on door, the same on all, filter is easily cleaned as slides out, but still left with a lot of fluff/debris which is very difficult to remove from the recess the filter comes from. Maybe they will change to either a hinge or lock so you can open in order to clean.

+ My last Zanussi tumble dryer was with me for thirteen years .I hope this one lasts as long .It is very straight forward to use ,the instructions are easy to understand ,the water bottle can easily be removed for emptying and cleaning as is the condenser.It has a reasonable energy rating. It also drys the cloths very well.

- The only thing I would change is the timer dial, I would prefer it if I could see how much time had passed or how much time was left .i.e. the dial would move or a digital display would show this.

+ Attractive and quiet. Good capacity. Cycle end indicator.

- Don't buy one of these if you can possibly have a vented tumble dryer. Cycles take a very long time and creates a very humid, smelly atmosphere. Inflexible programs, you must complete the program and cannot just start/stop as you can with most vented dryers.

- Cycles difficult to work out - generally just turn it to first setting, which is often not right for particular clothes, but the rest of the settings are too difficult.

+ I was specifically looking for a condenser dryer with a 'bottom' water collection drawer as I was intending to place the dryer on top of my worktop , with my washing machine underneath and as I'm fairly short I didn't want to have to empty a full water collection drawer which was at the top of the machine. There seem to be very few dryers with a bottom collection drawer produced now, so I was pleased to find this one and at a fair price.Dries well, not too much noise , looks good too.

- You are unable to fit a stacking kit to this machine due to the low opening condensor/water container door.

- Seems to take a while to dry and the alarm keeps going off for the filter or water container being full even when there is hardly anything in either of them.

+ Zanussi are 1st class products. Reliable, efficient and easy to use as I have found previously.
