+ The doll is very very good value for money, good functions that my daughter is looking for example being able to feed the baby and change it and also looking like a real life baby.

- Because i have purchased the boy baby born, i am finding it difficult to find baby born boy clothes and all the accessories being sold in the shops are pink for the baby born girl.

+ Baby Born products are consistently of excellent quality and innovation has been key in recent years, with many new improvements and accessories appearing. The new boy has all the features of the latest magic eyes girl with added correct anatomical detail for a boy(!). He already has his own range of clothes and blue pushchair, which are sure to prove popular with young mummies everywhere. We love him already. Baby Born was a clear winner in our house because it is fully bathable and doesn't have all that hard unfriendly electronic bumph.

- I accept the criticism regarding squeezing baby's arm to make it laugh and cry, though I've never actually been tempted to transfer these actions to real-life babies myself! We don't tend to use the functions much - just love the dolls. Such a huge range of outfits and accessories - we could spend pounds and pounds!

+ Helps children understand how to look after a baby, so if they have a little brother or sister they can help their mum with certain things.

- It is a nightmare to feed the baby then once you are done you have to clean the doll out straight away and then leave it 1hr to drain. this in a childs eyes is years (not very child friendly). It is the same when you take him in the bath. The nappy only last for one wee so you have to buy more of them. To here the baby cry you have to pinch his arm (not very good to teach a child). All in all i think this is a waste of money but the children do like it.

+ It is very popular with the children, it does not make noises when not required as some dolld do.

- More nappies should be included with the doll as the shildren go through a lot until the novelty wears off

- it needs a lot of water to make it cry and the arm is hard for a young child to squeeze

+ Good quality material and interesting accessories. Pleased to find a boy doll.

- Probably a security measure but it was a nightmare trying to break into the packaging, would not have been able to do it with bare hands and practically nothing could be recycled.

+ That there's a boy baby doll availiable

- It feels that every couple of months a new baby doll has been brought out which does something slightly different and it begins to get very expensive as your daughter then wants the latest one out because her friends have got it.

+ Great that he can be bathed. Magic eyes a nice feature. Attractive looking baby.

- Havent yet got it to cry. After feeding with 'baby food' takes a lot of cleaning and you have to shake it! Not a good thing to show your toddler to do with a baby.
