+ It's pretty much self explanatory. What I like about it the most is that once the programme is finished there's no need to wait for 1 minute before the door opens, it's immediate. It has great space within the barrel and can take a light horse rug happily!

+ Really easy to use. You can pick a program then alter the temp, spin speed to suit the load. The Jet system means it will work out the water usage and time depending on the load so small loads do not need the full wash cycle.

- You can't do the fastest spin (1400) with a synthetic cycle. Sometimes I have just a couple of synthetics in a load and they could take the 1400 spin.

+ This washing machine has a great range of programmes to choose from - including very short 30 minutes cycles. It also has a delayed start so it can run during the night - the spin cycle is so quiet there is no chance of it waking anyone! I can't believe how clean the clothes are when they come out - my old washing machine must have been really bad!

+ This is a very flexible machine, you can choose between many combinations of load type, wash time and spin speed. Whilst it is not the quietest on fast spin it is by no means noisy and is very good on lower spin speeds.

+ Overall glad I went for this model, really pleased. Clothes come out really clean, very quiet. Love the large drum as it cuts down on loads as you can fit more in. Last 2 washers have been Zanussi and I have had no complaints with either.

- The alarm when the programmes finish is OK, but can get quite annoying as instead of sounding once, it goes off several times! Machine is deeper than stated 600 mm

+ Excellent cleaning on normal cycle, although times are quite long at just over 2hrs for a 40 degree wash. A good variety of wash programmes and the time delay is very good.

- The wool cycle isn't great as some of the washing tablets remain intact so an extra rinse is needed.

+ Very quiet, you can choose a shorter cycle if you have to go out by a certain time, it tells you how long each cycle will be!!

Like the fact that there is no delay in opening the door when the programme has finished.

- The rinse cycle is poor - often leaving residue.
The synthetic programme defaults to 60 degrees which is too high for most items.
Would like to be able to save particular programmes which are used frequently (ie 30 degree washes)

+ Good results . very good washing machine . highly rated on what magazine.

- slightly lengthy cycles and annoying bleeping sound when the cycle finsishes . Small poinrts really.

- The door doesn't close as easily as it should. The spin doesn't seem as powerful as my previous Zanussi, bought in 2001, which was only a 1200 rpm. I tend to spin everything again on the 14 minute spin cycle otherwise the washing is too wet to bring out.

- The only thing that lets it down is that you are unable to vary the spin speed on many of the cycles, which means most of the time you are only able to use 900 instead of 1200.

- you can't stop the machine beeping when it has finished a cycle- very annoying if you want to put a wash on overnight!

+ Using the superquick cotton programme, you will have a cheap cycle (30 degrees , 45 minutes) and a high spin (1400) which will leave moderately soiled clothes perfectly clean and nearly dry but will use little energy.

- some sligjht water leaks from pipes at back but after a good tighten seem ok, also from underneath but we think that was a piece of linen basket in the filter.... check often... but since then all seems fine

+ A very versatile machine, allowing you to change the spin speed, soil level and temperature if you want to, with handy "easy iron" and "extra rinse" buttons. Washing felt softer to the touch compared to my previous washing machine. Fairly quiet. Handy timer display shows you how long the cycle will take, right from the start, and counts down.

- None,other than that the dispenser drawer needs a slight tug to open it.

The machine is very simple to operate and the dials & electronic screen are easy to understand.

- As with most modern machines cycle times are long.

+ Very easy to use and I was able to start washing straight away as controls very straight forward. Nice and quiet machine.

- Slight negative - its annoying the 3 beeps that go off when washing complete - I know it does stop eventually, but irritating. Also can leave a film of scum on rubber when finished cycle so have to wipe before taking clothes out.

+ I like the way it locks and unlocks. I like the economy settings.The time to go display and the delayed start function are good

+ To be honest this machine is perfect for my needs and seems to have all the features I require.

- If I forget to put an item in the machine and want to stop it almost as soon as I pushed the start button--its too late. But that is a very small point and its good points more than make up for it.

- The beep it makes when it's finished - this alone would prevent me recommending it as it beeps loudly every 30 seconds for about 5 minutes. Not good when you're trying to relax in front of the TV or work and it forces you to have to go and turn it off. One beep would be plenty.

+ It's very simple to read the operating dial and buttons, So very quiet, and an excellent wash.
I will always choose Zanussi, for their relyability, low noise and cleaning power. I have just given my last Zanussi away( to someone less fortunate than myself) still working perfectly, which is more than 20 years old. Zanussi is the best for me.

Always have to reset temperature on jetsystem wash from default of 60degrees to 40. Would be helpful to be able to programme own wash cycle so don't have to fiddle with buttons each time.
