+ Easy to use. Just put in garments, put in wahing powder and conditioner then select appropriate programme on dial, press any other options if necessary then push start button.

- Cannot follow what stage of cycle washing is at e.g. whether washing, rinsing, or final spin stage.

+ The super quick wash option is fantastic. When you have a large wash basket to get through it really cuts down the time.

- The ordinary wash time on 60 degrees does seem excessively long - hence I use the 50 or 40 degree super quick option.

- some programmes you have to have full load or heavy clothes it will not spin so you have to put it onto another programme to finish off , once your use to that it should become easier to use

+ large drum, 7 kg is good for big family and duvets etc. easy to use, has a quick cycle which i tend to use for most washes. so far its very reliable. good value for money and made by the makers of AEG and Electrolux

- 1)fairly noisy as mine is in a small kitchen. 2)the booklet doesn't explain what the different cycles are which isn't much help. 3)you can't tell what part of the cycle the wash is on.

+ Nice looking basic easy to use washing machine with variable spin which is good but depends which programme you use - cannot use it with all programmes. Also got half load and quick wash options but again cannot use on all programmes so have to adjust accordingly. Not too noisy - however not had a washing machine before that was either noisy or quiet to compare - this machine fitted our budget.

- Water collects in rubber after use - presume design-fault! We read reviews before purchasing - aware of this possibility - soak up water with cloth/sponge - not what you expect from a new machine! Need to wipe excess water off inside port hole so able to close door as have walked into door a few times! As front of machine is curved it is not in line with other fitments and does not fit into space properly. Would have preferred rinsing options. Cycles longer than previous machine - no idea when programme is likely to finish unless note time then refer to manual for how long it will take - other models have display but more expensive.

+ Super quick cycle on takes 52mins which is brilliant, and its very easy to use! great for bigger loads and cleaning the dogs bed!

- Some of the other cyles do take a lot longer, when using the super quick cycle you can only put in a smaller load otherwise whites marks come out on the clothing!

+ Although there are loads of programs, it is a very easy machine to use. The machine cycle is fairly quick and the clothes come out well rinsed.

- It is hard to stablise the machine!! The legs underneath to get a perfect balance are in a difficult position and very tight so it took some time to get the machine balanced.

- Rather bulky - a 'bulbous' front which sits out well in front of my line of kitchen units.
LENGTH OF CYCLES - UNBELIEVABLE! Had I known it was going to take 2hours plus for an average sized wash at 40 degrees I would not have bought this machine. Also, even at 1200 spin, which my previous machine was, the clothes still come out feeling much more damp. Need to continually refer to manual in order to find a short/shorter cycle than the indicated one. Slightly disappointed all round!
