+ Clean design and easy to use, subject to point made below. It certainly works much better than the old one (a 20 year old Zanussi with very similar specifications)!

- The legend on the control knob is very difficult to read if the oven is mounted in a position with any sort of overhang - e.g. under a work surface. If I had realized this, I probably wouldn't have bought it.
It also seems rather noisy compared with its predeccssor, although that may just be a question of bedding it onto its supports more accurately.

+ straight forward to use. very good to have the ability to lower the grill element to clean top of oven

- screw fixing of grill element a bit tricky. have notice a long thin metal rod which I don't know where it is suppose to go.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. Self Cleaning	Catalytic
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
