Zanussi ZDT6053 Reviews: Built-in, 60cm wide, Dishwasher

+ Easy to install. Quiet in operation. Good cleaning overall

- Drying is not as good as my previous Siemens dishwasher as water seems to collect in the top tray and then tends to drip. However if you operate the dishwasher overnight and leave it to dry until morning it seems ok. Also If you empty bottom tray first, then the water dripping from the top tray is not such a problem anymore. Overall I would recommend it. Good value for money

+ Its very quiet, the door is really light compared to our last dish washer, The baskets are larger than my other dishwasher so I can fit more dishes in it. I'm really happy with it.

- We opted to fit it ourselves, It wasn't as easy as the instructions said and it took several days to get it right. Theres a plastic screw on the front on the bottom its used to extend the back foot once the machine is in place, this plastic rod connecting the front and back fell out and I had to try and extend the back foot by squeezing my arm under the machine. We also found it difficult to attach the machine to the two fixings screwed into the top of our worktop, I had to hold it up whilst my wife adjusted to feet, you deffinately need two people to fit it and keep the children out of the way as the language can get a bit colourful. I
reccommend you get someone else to fit it.

+ Gets everything brilliantly clean - even the worst burned on food that is so difficult to remove from oven dishes.

- A little noisey during the wash. Sometimes the crockery is a little wet after the drying cycle. These are insignificant bad points given the overall excellent performance of the dishwasher.

+ Easy to programme. Operates quietly.We chose Zanussi because we had our old Zanussi for 15 years and only changed because we were having a new integrated kitchen

- The top tray is not as well designed and as easy to load as the one in our old dishwasher..The old one was better for stemmed glasses.However it washes just as well!!!!

+ Good overall dishwasher, quiet and cleans well even when using cheap dishwasher tablets.

- The dishwasher tablet doesn't fully dissolve on Bio setting, and sometimes the flap to the tablet dispenser gets stuck.
