Zanussi-Electrolux ZDF601 Reviews: Freestanding, 60cm wide, Black Dishwasher

+ I love the black finish - easy to keep clean! Washes well but the cycles are very long!

- It would look much better if the white panelling and seal that goes round the edge that the door closes to was black. The white really stands out and spoils the look even when the door is only slightly ajar.

+ Choose Zanussi- for the name, choose the colour black to fit in with the kitchen, choice of programmes, quick wash, easy to load, saucepans, large itmes.

+ Looks and performs great. You can hardly hear that its in operation!

- Bad design inside, the light and top centre water spout restricts what you can put in. You always end up with a half loaded wash.

+ Best dishwasher I have had!! I have had the dishwasher for a few months now and I cannot find one fault, if you ask my husband I am one of the fussiest women he knows so it must be good. I also love the sleek black colour which many friends have complimented on.

- The door doesn't lie flat so when you pull the bottom basket out to load, the plates roll out. Also, 9 times out of ten, I find the washing tablet un-dissolved at the bottom.

+ Quiet,cleans well and leaves dishes dry.

- Tops on the cutlery trays too small for my cutlery so have had to discard two of them. Have to keep one though so to have somewhere to put teaspoons! My dinner plates and bowls dont seem to fit in very well I`m perservering my last zanussi dishwasher lasted 12 years so rather stuck in my ways.

- I had a bosch before and you can really tell the difference with the wash quality.

+ Plenty of room for lots and lots of dishes! Quick wash facility taking only 30 minutes. Very quiet - in fact you hardly notice when it's working. Good colour to fit in with my scheme of granite worktops.

- Cup holders in top basket are not very sturdy. Does not dry, even with residual heat & many items have to be dried manuallyl

+ Looks smart. Quiet. Cleans OK.

- Poor at drying. Biggest problem is the bad design of the interior - I get only 70% in compared to my old dishwasher. Frustrating as this often means 2 washes a day.

+ Lovely deep baskets top & bottom, really easy to load. I can even easily fit in my larger than normal sized dinner plates. So quiet you hardly notice the program is running. Everything comes out really clean! Very handy interior light which was a nice surprise. Operating instructions really easy to understand. Great value for money. Overall a fabulous dishwasher!

- Loading baskets are not well designed, as there are unusable areas. Side light in dishwasher is a total waste of energy

+ Very quiet and efficient dishwasher, with simple controls, good variety of washing options and great high temp wash results on pots and pans. The internal light is a nice touch.

- The racks are a little fiddly and poorly laid out, I have used cheaper dishwashers that pffered a more practical and efficiant layout.

+ Easy to use and load, fits different sizes of glasses. Pans fit easily, cleans really well. Looks great against the black granite worktop. Really nice change from white or stainless steel!

- stacking is not as easy as my previous zanussi dishwasher or my Mother's zanussi - glasses are a fiddle to stand up in
