+ Fast spin (1600 ) means faster drying time over all.
Can pause and stop if machine has started and then go on to select a different programme if necessary.

- Doesn't actually say that it is a half load in the paperwork/instruction book.
Is it? I understood it was and that is one of the main reasons I purchased this model.
I now believe it fills with water depending on the load but not too sure.
It should be more specific.

- Length of cycle time for a 40 eco wash is 3hrs.

+ Washes really well. 1600 spin well worth having. Easy to use. Even the Superquick wash at 30° (takes about 30mins) seems to wash very well. Very pleased with my purchase!

- As I read in a lot of the reviews before I bought this machine, unfortunately there is no way of knowing whereabouts the wash is during the cycle. However, now that I have the 'delay start' option, I tend to set it to come on during the night, so this isn't really a huge problem.

+ A rated for energy - this machine has a wide range of programmes and handles a large load with ease. The 1600 spin means the clothes come out virtually dry. Would always buy Zanussi as my last two both lasted over 10 years and were very reliable and cost next to nothing in repairs.

- High speed spin can be alittle noisy and some of the programmes are a bit long.

- Many of the cycles take a long time - well over an hour. The washing powder compartment is quite small and powder often goes into the fabric conditioner compartment.

- None really, apart from if one wishes to rinse something through, you have to use the only three rinse cycle, which is a waste of water and time.

+ Very easy to use, the super quick wash is excellent. The delay timer is great as you can put it on before you go to bed and it doesn't start to wash it until you're waking up. It stops me from forgetting to put the washer on before leaving the house on a morning.

- There aren't any really bad points except I was expecting it to be a bit quieter during the spin cycles.

+ It's a fab machine which spin is outstanding.Clothes are really clean even on 'eco' mode with a footballer in the house!!

+ The spin is really good, the clothes are quite dry when they come out.

- The spin can be really noisey, but not on every wash. This is not even dependant on the size of the load.
Also, it is had to tell how long the wash has to go because the dial does not go around and there is no digital display.

+ Ideal if you do lots of washing as the drum capacity is very large

- Takes too long to wash clothes if you don't use the quick button.No half load.and definitely not a 1600 spin.you can only use the 1600 spin on selected cycles.The 1600 spin is more like a 1000 spin. the clothes come out wetter than my last washer which was a zanussi 1200spin.Has no 1000 or 1200 spin either.not impressed with it at all.Too many cycles that you wouldn't use.Can't control it with the wash cycle i like and the spin i like.

- Could do with a spin speed between 900 and 1600 as 900 does little and 1600 is very noisy. Has a big deep glass bowl in the door, so if you have a wall on the left you'll find it gets in the way of loading the machine. Also find socks and other small items often work they way between the viewing bowl and door seal so don't get fully washed and come out soaking wet.

+ The number of good reviews persuaded us to buy this machine. Have not tried all the programmes yet but it has so far met our expectations. It could not be easier to use.

+ It is straight forward and simple to use. The drum is a good size, so you are not struggling to force bed sheets in.

- There is no indication of how much time of the cycle is left. However, to get round this, once the washing is in, I make a note of the time, so I know roughly when the cycle finishes.

+ Excellent Washing machine - Ease of Use, Plenty of washing Cycles to pick from.... even sports shoes.... and just gets on with it.

- none really, the install instructions could have been a litle easier, as I was aware to remove shipping bolts from rear of machine, but instructions were not that clear, and if I had not been aware, I would not have known to remove them

+ Large port hole, simple looking dial, delayed start so you can have it on at night. Best of all it is so quiet! Hardly notice it on when your in the kitchen, not at all at night. You can delay start, the rinse and spin until you wake up.

- Lots of different washes, fine if you can be bothered like me to read a manual. Not a plug and play machine.

+ Very good drum size, excellent spin cycle ( clothes are half dry when they come out and actual drying time is very quick). Very easy to use, although I need to read the manual to find out what each of the options does. The clothes are coming out cleaner than my old Indesit machine (mind you that was 10 years old).

- Can't think of many bad points apart from the Spin Cycle is noisy. and there is an Eco option on the machine, but I find it adds about 30 - 45 mins to the cycle time ( not reallly a bad point unless you like your washing to be done quickly).

- All new COLD water intake only washers like this just take AGES to wash your stuff. When will manufacfturers realise that we DON'T WANT THIS, it isn't green and it isn't clever. I've read it's noisy, esp on 1600 spin - luckily I have a separate wash room so just close the door. If you've got an old hot & cold washer take my advice and keep repairing it for as long as you can, all NEW washers are rubbish !

+ cleans the clothes well and plenty of different settings to suit most loads. door opens very quickly at end of cycle the 1600 spin means clothes dry very quickly if using the tumble drier

- best to use powder than liquid in the dispenser. wash cycle compaired to my old zanussi do take a lot longer. would like to be able to see what stage the cycle was at as dyle stays on the same spot as it was set

Everything you need in a washing machine!!!

- The only bad things I can find is the door does'nt open fully, making it quite difficult to empty and load washing between the door and the wall it is sited by!!!
Also cycle times can be long, but I have learnt that if you select a quick wash programme it is obviously much quicker and washing still comes out clean!

+ Clothes come out very dry due to 1600 spin, therefore less time in tumble dryer, saving on energy and money. The machine offers alot of different featues and allows a much better choice than my old machine. I was concered at some of the comments I read about the noise of the longer spin on machines, however I am pleased to say it is very quite in comparision to my old machine, which only had a 1100 spin.

- The washing circles take a lot longer than my old machine, however the larger drum saves on the number of washes to be made in a week, so this should be an overall saving on etectricity. The only disappointment I have is that it doesn't advise how long is left on the wash, as no digital display, but I am getting used to that and the choice of the delay button over the display, which was on the price, really makes up for this.

+ Simple to use. Quite stylish in appearance as washing machines go!

- doesn't show the length of time for the cycle and cannot find this information in the book either, except for a few of the progammes. Once it has started onthe cycle you can't tell how long it has to go. ie, once you have selected the programme the dial stays there and doesn't move.

+ 1600 Spin is excellent, saves 25% on tumble dry times. Looks good and easy to use.

- Outlet hose too short. Would have preferred a hot/cold fill to utilise off peak, cheap rate, electrically heated water.

+ Many features to choose from. The 1600rpm spin speed is amazing - it does leave the clothes rather creased if not taken out quickly- but the clothes feel almost dry.

- No hot water input? I suspect the addition of this option would increase its energy efficiency. Eco loads take forever (so are not used). I suspect Eco cycle refers to water usage not energy. Both should be taken into account.

+ very pleased with the machine so far. Lots of extra programmes that are really handy and love the way the spin cycle removes the water efficiently for easier drying compared to my last machine.

There is no half load button.
When using the rinse and spin cyles on their own it seems to be such a slow process.
It also takes an age for the door release light to activate so that the door can be opened. It seems to negate the idea of using the less crease cycle because the clothes are scrunched up until that light ignites to tell you that you can open the door and retrieve you washing. However, perhaps I am being too harsh. Overall I am pleased with the machine so far, although always the pessimist, it's early days, ask me again in six months!

- Spins take about 90 mins which is longer than I'd like. Due to the high rpm (1600) the machine is quiet noisey on final spins - can't have your cake and eat it I suppose!

+ Performs well and clothes are really clean.

- If I use the 1600 spin it makes holes in my clothes! I can therefore only use the 1600 spin for towels and linen. The lower spin of 900 leave the clothes too wet... there should be maybe a 1200 spin option?

+ I use the mini 30 cycle for everything, and it does very well indeed. The high spin speed is a real bonus, and very effective, leaving many fewer things needing ironing. Very straightforward, nice softclick controls. The filter is a very handy, and for me, essential feature.

- The only downside is that it does not have a countdown timer, neither does the dial move during the cycle, so you cannot tell how long is left.

Very pleased to get a washing machine with a front filter- no dragging the appliance out or getting an engineer out just to remove fluff from the filter! Overall I'm very pleased with this model.

- Cant change the temperature on the washes so cant drop a regular cotton wash down to 30 degrees like we're all advised to do - there are the eco washes but if you're in a hurry or have several loads to do, they do take 30-40 minutes longer than the regular cycles!

+ Washing and spinning are both excellent and the larger size drum is really good for bigger items. I had a bosch last time and I think this machine compares really well, considering the cost I have no complaints at all.

- Can't do a 30 or 40 d wash with a 1600 spin so have to do an extra spin. Door takes an age to open after the cycle Cant leave the program set. Have to reset program every time.
