Zanussi ZWF14070 reviews: Front Loading loading, 6kg capacity washing machine

+ Easy to use. Washes well.Fairly quiet.

+ EASY TO USE CHOICE OF SPIN SPEEDS DELAY TIMER

- NOISY ON SPIN NO HALF LOAD

+ I love the 1400 spin speed, it means that less time is needed in the tumble drier for cottons. The dials are easy to use and undertand, I even use mroe than 3 cycles which I didn't with my previous (not a Zanussi) machine! I like the options that are available. Overall I am very happy with my Zanussi.

- Some cycles take too long and the instructions don't specify times for each cycle, this would be useful when you first get the machine so that you know when to use the 'super quick' option. I feel that the 1400 spin is too noisy to be able to use the 'delay' setting so that you can run it through the night, I think we would feel there was another earth quake! I would like a larger drum capacity.

+ night feature and delay function means washing is ready very quickly in the morning - handy if you want to get it drying before leaving the house. Bigger drum means more washing in fewer loads. Controls very easy

- Have acccidently pressed the pause button without realising so then cycle wasn't finished when expected.

+ Easy to use, good delay start feature, cold water inlet only, (saves the boiler from kicking in to provide hot water).

- Large amount of wash settings, probably too many considering you only ever really wash on three or four of them.
Powder drawer is opposite way round to my previous machine and I keep putting fabric softener in the pre-wash compartment. (Can't really blame the washer for that though!!)

- can't use half load on many settings, no 15 degree setting

+ Drum holds a lot. There are lots of programmes to choose from. The 1400 rpm spin is excellent for removing a lot of water meaning less drying time either outside or in the tumble drier.

- Quite noisy on the wash cycle and during spinning. Would like to see a 30 degree cycle for cottons, the only 30 is a delicates wash and a mini wash.

+ very quick ,easy to use ,but its is worth reading through the instruction booklet before you use it to get the most from the washing machine. the 30 mini was is good it even does a fabric softner wash with it which my last washing machine never. would recommend this washer

+ Large load capacity and the quick spin does get the clothes pretty dry. I like the delayed start button, when you can put the wash on overnight and have it ready to hang up in the morning.

- There is no indication of how long is left to go of the wash. My old washer has 3 LED lights that let you know if it was at prewash, wash, or spin so you had an idea of how long is left to go. This one has no indication, but it is only a minoe point really....

+ The brand Zanussi was recommened to me by a family member and I have to say I am very impresed. This washing machine is fantastic! Its very user friendly and smart in apperance. I would recommend this product to anyone.

+ I like the fact that there are a number of different options for your wash. I love the fact that I can do a wash in 30 minutes although I use the fast spin at the end.
I did try the sport shoe wash but was not overly impressed by it - but then I don't want to wash my sports shoes every 5 minutes so not a problem

- Some of the wash cycles seem overly long - not a problem if you are not in a hurry.

+ With the 1400 spin, clothing gets dry in next to no time!

+ It has a great selection of cycles including hand wash. You can select a 'Superquick' wash on some cycles which is useful if the items are not heavily soiled. There is also a mini wash 30 which is a 30 minute wash at 30 degrees - great if you have a daughter like mine who changes her clothes so often they don't really have time to get dirty and just need freshening.

- The only thing I miss from my old washing machine is the half load option.

- Too long to wash clothes! Took over 2 hr for a normal load for a basic clean/wash.
Afterwards clothes not as dry as you would expect from 1400 spin cycle.

+ Really good if you go to the gym a lot as there's a sports kit programme! A bit noisier than I had hoped, but if it's anything like the last Zanussi I had, it'll go forever. I would buy the same again.
