Great if you have a really small space for a washing machine, load capacity actually pretty generous. Lots of washing modes and a cold wash which is great for US clothes which often specify this. Good build quality.

Would be too small for a large family! Also rather pricey. Also writing on front of machine seems to rub off if comes into contact with any fabric conditioner.

Because its a compact machine (500mm) the door loading becomes very low to the floor & difficult for an older person to use, but you can't have it all ways, you just need to be aware. I built a small stand which now means the door is more easy to reach.

The cycle length is a bit too long, so you have to use the quick & daily buttons to hep reduce this. It is not possible to see how far the cycle has progressed once the programme is selected.

Although having virtually no choice as to which machine to buy due to space constraints, I am really pleased with it's performance. Although the capacity is less than I was used to, I don't find this a problem, I simply do smaller loads more often. I'm particularly pleased with the choice of spin speeds up to 1300.

We needed a machine to go in my mother's small kitchen (previously she had to go out to the garage to do her laundry, which wasn't much fun in winter for an 86 year old) It is a perfect size to fit in her kitchen cupboard and yet it seems to take as much laundry as she used to do in her larger machine. I think Zanussi are brilliant to make this small machine.

The size of the machine is obviously the main selling point. Its ideal for someone living on their own as the load size is all you need for one person. The design is quite simple and pretty (for a washing machine). Easy to use.
-
I bought this to replace my older Zanussi model of the same size, and found the controls on the old model to be more versatile than on this one. The old model has a dial which indicated how far you were into a wash, where as this one has nothing. Unless you make note of the time you put a wash in, there is no way of telling how long there is to run on a wash. Another point is you have to choose from fixed programmes, which include fixed temperatures. There are a lot to choose from but the previous model had a dial to choose the temperature required. For example, I can't do a 30 degree wash without choosing a wool or delicate programme, which is not always what I want.
