+ My previous oven was Zanussi and has lasted 20 years having only to replace the grill element 3 times. I have bought this one because I am having new kitchen units. I would recomend Zanussi to anyone.

+ Easy to use. Automatic cooking feature (setting length of cooking time and what time the oven needs to switch its self off) is simple to use and very useful. Fan is very quiet and continues after oven is switched off to cool the oven down. The light enables you to view the food whilst cooking thus avoiding the need to open the oven door.

- Watermarks remain after cleaning the hob and require some work to remove.
Racks inside the oven have become discoloured quickly (not dirty but discoloured; cleaning does not remove this) which spoils the overall look of the inner oven.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
