+ My husbands choice!
Looks good externally.
Good if you have lots of tall items to store in fridge
Freezer layout ok

- Noisy.
Very, very poor interior layout of body of fridge and no extras, apart from another shelf, to purchase eg under- shelf rack which was on shop display model
I am having to stack items in boxes on top of each other, same with yoghurts, pots etc.
We are only a family of 4!
Overall it really seems not big enough especially area for storage of fruit and veg.

Carole, Devon , “Very particular”

+ Very stylish, good amount of storage.

- Very noisy.
Seems to be working a lot of the time, so can't comment on the energy consumption - time will tell!
Would have liked another shelf inside the fridge - or perhaps the option to buy another one, otherwise you have to stack things on top of each other.
Also, almost impossible to remove plastic covering without leaving small bits behind on doors/sides making it look a bit messy.

+ The American Fridge Freezer is extremely easy to use compared to built-under appliances - no more bending down on hands and knnes to see what is at the back of the fridge! The space inside is most suitable for my family with slightly more accommodation in the fridge than the freezer. I feel that modern living makes use of more fresh food than previously and I can see at glance what is inside. The food also keeps much fresher for longer than my previous appliance. I am more than delighted with my purchase.

- Few to be honest. The size of this appliance would not suit anyone whose kitchen lacked space....

+ The fridge does what is stated with some feature that came as a surprise, alarm on door open too long.

- The internal storage boxes are cheap in material and design which stops them smoothly being pulled/push in/out.

+ Nice looking. Seperate thermostats for fridge and freezer. Lots of door space.

- Bit noisy. Protective plastic difficult to remove completely, still got bits stuck on at the edge. Had to take the freezer doors off to get it through the doorway.

+ Great buy, excellent quality, looks good and lots of space in the Fridge.

- Not really a bad point, more an observation. The freezer is more than adequate for us, but if you have a large family and freeze a lot of food I don't think it would be suffcient. Although that said, it is still bigger than your average 3 drawer standard type fridge freezer.

+ The unit has so far perfomed up to expectations, is smart looking, and has extra capacity as I did not require the water cooler/ice maker. This aspect very much limited my options however. Too early to comment on energy consumption

- Shelving could be a bit more flexible. Not enough choice for shelf locations. Compressor can be a little noisy, but acceptable

+ Good overall build quality and looks. Twin thermostat and door cooling. Good value.

- Plastic buttons on control panel look a little cheap. Difficult to remove all the protective film - this is probably true for all fridge freezers.

+ gook looking. plenty of room vegetable drawer keeps veg and salad as good as when first bought. Alarm really good as you tend to get things out of the fridge like butter to use and you leave the door open as you are not going to be long and it beeps to remind you.

- getting the plastic coating of when new
