Roary The Racing Car - Deluxe Silver Hatch Race Track

+ entertaining for my 3yr old

- The amount of batteries it required, by now they should run off a power pack so kids get to play with it for more than 3hrs before batteries need changing.

+ Product recognition. Roary was always going to be a hit! The product is pretty solid in comparision with the workshop. Being a boy most toys take a battering, so far, so good! He picked it up really quickly and even introduced other vehicles into his game, Roary or Tintop have been pushing other cars around the track waiting for the CRASH!! Ummmmm

- The starting flags could perhaps be a little more indestructable but then every child is different!

+ I was very pleased with this product better than expected and my 3 year old loves it

- The only ad point is the batteries in the cars I would recommend rechargable ones

+ Kept my son entertained for hours. Its very easy to put together and to dismantle agian when its time to put away.

- Its a bit bigger than I thought it would be. The cars are very loud.

+ Easy to assemble, kids can play together without adult supervision

- there could be a definate start and finish to the race with Chris announcing the winner. Product is expensive for what it is

- could do with rechargeable batteries because the batteries don't last long

+ Very good, easy to operate, first 'scalextrix' type toy, kept children amused for ages, and they keep going back to it.

+ My 3 year old son absolutely loves this toy. He spends hours playing with it, watching Roary and TinTop racing each other - laughing hysterically when they occasionally crash into each other! He also responds when Big Chris gives commentary. I'd recommend this toy.

+ Its built very well, seems very strong and durable which is good with a three year old! Is fairly easy to put together.

- Only issue is that the cars dont stop until you turn the switch off. The race goes on and so there isnt a winner really.

- The saftey barriers are attached to the main racetrack via small spikes inserted into holes. The spikes break off the barriers easily when leaned against to reach for cars.

+ My three year old is able to use this toy independently.

- Uses lots of batteries!
