+ Design (looks great), remote control, sound at high volume.

- VERY hissy at low-mid volumes (up to 4/5 volume setting). This makes listening to gentle music or music at low volumes almost unbearable. Vita say it's due to the R4's pre-amplifier and 3D processor and is normal operation. If I had known about it beforehand I honestly wouldn't have bought the unit. Unfortunately this overrides (by a long way) any of the design and feature strengths of the unit.

+ Stylish design. Set up was a piece of cake. Automatic DAB station tuning with great reception. Good sound, even from the iPod. Subby can be trimmed to avoid wooly bass. Feels like very good build quality (and it's heavy). Neat, pluggable remote control.

- Not much really. The display does not show the current iPod track details. The remote is confusing when controlling the iPod, which is strange because it replicates the iPod controls, just somehow not the usability. No line out for connecting to a another system.
That's about it.
