+ A fantastic sounding unit - the sound quality is extraordinary given the size of the unit. Stylish & easy to use.

- The only negative, but a big one - the LCD display is incredibly bright, with no ability to dim it. At night it lights the entire room. A big drawback for a product many will probably put in the bedroom - having set the station presets, I have now blanked out the display entirely. A shame given the rest of the design is so good.

+ sound quality is excellent,most manufacturers in the last 3-4 decades have thought that everybody wanted masses of buttons and gimicks,and dont care a bugger for sound quality, when some of us dont really care what it looks like as long as the money is spent in the right area " SOUND QUALITY" and at last someone has got it right,it doesnt look bad either.

- Small niggles, if you like me keep it on a kitchen shelf it is a little difficult to see the controls,you cant please everybody. I dont know if its just my model but I have noticed the volume control to be a little stiff in operation and the volume does jump in 2-3 increments rather than one at a time,but its got a two year warranty so if it gets worse I will be in touch.

+ Beautifully made, very good functionality and the sound quality is superb. It is also nice to look at but discreet.

- None, really. The display could be clearer, perhaps the time could be displayed in larger figures when it is in standby mode - sometimes you just want to see clearly what the time is when you wake in the middle of the night!

- Display is too bright to have on during the night - therefore no good as an alarm

+ Lovely solid build quality, a real weight for a diminutive object. Neat design and, most importantly, first class sound quality. Also sounds great with an MP3 player attached. Sexy blue glow from the power switch.

- Display is a little small and cheap. Signal quality indictor not as useful as Pure's % system.

+ Interesting design with excellent sound quality. It is a bedroom radio and hence the alsrm feature is essential

- The LED is bright for a bedroom with no facility for dimming.

- Display:
1. Black letters on back-lit white background too small and not too clear - can only be read from close to.
2.The back-lit display is too bright for bedside use - unless you want a night light.
Both points could be overcome with the use of l.e.d numbers/letter on a un-lit black/blue background.

+ Very attractive design, great sound quality, easy to set up. The styling really sets it apart.

- Quite expensive compared to other DABs but you get what you pay for...

+ Powerful custom made amplifier provides great sound from such a compact unit.
