- Cannot tilt holder 90 degrees for portrait use when used with still camera

+ Rigid. Good size for general use and not too heavy considering the weight of camera it will carry. Fluid damping works passably well for a budget device.

- Friction catches on legs (no positive locking). Handle fixing nut tends to loosen with use and head tends to unscrew from column.
