Velbon Cx640 Tripod

+ Very light and easy to use, with the quick release flick switch on the tripod head makes it great for capturing those shots you could miss once your camera is set up on other tripods,the speed at which the pod can be set up due to good design ie: extending the legs with the gripping clips very good. Overall good value for money for this product, pleased with the purchase.

- The little handle that winds up the head is a little flimsy, possibly something on a round dial with a small handle could be better.

+ Good solid tripod , easy to use. Holds a dSLR with a 300mm lens rock steady for bird photos.

- Built in spirit level almost totally ineffective.

+ Very sturdy - takes the weight of my SLR with telephoto attached with no problems.
