- cord storage difficult, not good on stairs, loud, and filter is a nightmare to clean I suspect suction will get worse because of this

+ This cleaner is great,the suction is so good on it,i vaccumed with my old cleaner then straight away with this one & i couldnt believe how much more it had picked up.It is so light to pick up also,its a fantastic cleaner.

- The lead doesnt seem to be very long so you have to keep moving it to different sockets.

+ I bought this product because I loved the Vax cyclone cleaner I had a few years ago and currently own a small Vax cylinder type cleaner which I am pleased with. The new wheel design has made this product a lot easier to use and it's very light to push across the carpet. The suction power is better than any other vacuum cleaner I've ever owned and leaves my carpets looking like they've just been cleaned. It's easy to empty too.

- The only critisism is the way you have to disconnect and reconnect the suction pipe to the hose. The clips are very stiff and it's a bit fiddly having to keep changing the hose round each time you want to use an attachment. The hose isn't quite long enough to reach the top of the stairs.
It would also be better if you could turn off the brushes while using the hose, that way it eliminate the need for the warning about how the brushes can damage your carpet if you don't have the cleaner pointing the correct way while using the hose.

+ This light weight cleaner is very useful, cleans carpets very well and is very easy to use and empty with all its tools readily to hand on the machine

- The height of the machine means that as a tall person you tend to lean over while using it. The running brush while using the suction hose, common to many machines, means taking care when doing this. The machine is not so hot picking up from flat surfaces such as wooden floors

+ Value for money this is a superb product, It has as muc suction power as any Dyson I've ever used.

- The design for changing from an upright vacum cleaner to a flexible hose is not as good as it could be, but that said I am just being picky.

- Noisy, connector hose disconnects too easily, you have to read all of the instructions to use it as it is not clear what goes where. Power switch is not obvioius enough.

+ Got good suction, Not too heavy. Really good hoover all round.

- Bit fiddley with the tools when wanting to do stairs and corners but not too much trouble. that is my only lil fault.
