+ Good value, powerful suction.

- Too heavy. Suction so powerful it's exhausting to use, especially attached hose. Not good on laminated floors.

+ Just about sucks up the floorboards under the carpet too! so works on pet hairs.

- Far too heavy, difficult to control and lift.

+ Picks up animal hair.

- Heavy and very loud.

+ I am very pleased with this product. It has great suction and the powertool is brilliant for lifting pet hair.

- Tools are poor no angle on stair cleaning tool, animal tool and brush tool making it very difficult to use, in fact took tools of my old Dyson and used them instead. The collection bag is very difficult to get to grips with not going on or off very easy.In fact have considered taking it back as it really is poor quality throughout.

- Don't particularly like the position of the on/off switch. I am happy with it being foot operated, but the position is a little awkward, as it's right next to the suction pipe. Also, where the suction hose connects to the base of the hoover is a little awkward, as it easily gets knocked when trying to hoover under the bed or furniture.

+ fantastic suction,extra long hose perfect for stairs.on board tool so everything is to hand,long cable so no need for unplugging each room.i love the extra long tool for nooks and crannys and the turbo tool is excellent i use this on my sofa curtains and matresses.ideal if you have children and/or pets!

- i got quite a few static shocks whilst using this product as the vax is almost all plastic.other than this i found the vax an unbeatable bargain,great value for money.also this item needed a bit of home assembly but it was quite simple to put together

- sucks too hard on some carpets it's a fight to move it.when you raise it to make it move easier, the brushes go so fast they blow bit away and don;t brush the carpet. i don't like thecasters on the base at the back, when upright and switched off you can only pull it along backwards.

- self assembly - only took about 30 mins tho, so not too bad , power lead could do with being a little longer , the back wheels are actually castors -a little 'unusual' but you get used to it !!

+ fantastic suction, literally sucks the carpet off the floor. amazed at how much is collected in the dust compartment! really easy to empty. brilliant performance, we have a dog and this gets up all the dog hairs. best hoover i have used in terms of performance.

- lead no where near long enough so have to unplug regularly to move room to room. very heavy to push around and to carry upstairs as the hose bit can't stretch to do all the stairs. if you have a problem with neighbours be warned....they are likely to report you as a noise nusance - this hoover is seriously LOUD. i have never heard a hoover like it. all that said, its performance far outweighs any bad points, the carpets feel really, really clean.
