+ Performs a thorough clean

- Quite heavy to use; can leave the surface wet but a second vacuum would assist with this.

Very pleased with the product overall.

+ It powers up when switched on.

- It clogs up and parts of it are almost impossible to clean. Wet carpet pile is lifted and clings to the brushes; and when it is stopped the brushes each leave a line of dirt on the carpet you've just cleaned - a concentrated black line that the cleaner itself can't clean. Overall the product is poor.

+ It's surprisingly effective - better than anything we've hired in the past, and because it mixes in the detergent you can leave the detergent in the machine when you store it so just need to "add water" to use each time - very convenient.

- It's quite large, but that's about it.

Difficult for women to use on their own

+ This product produces excellent results. I let my mum borrow it & she could not believe how clean her carpets were after using it. She previously used the wet & dry vaccum cleaner by vax. My carpets have come up like new having 2 small children. I am constantly mopping up spills etc & this product has proved to be invaluble.

Overall an excellent productwith brilliant results every time. Also it would be nice to have a few different cleaning solutions ie floral or aromatherapy smelling ie lavender or something with scotchguard in it

+ After unpacking the VAX, it was very easy to put together, I did have one bolt that lost its' thread though and wouldn't connect to the screw it was supposed to.
Apart from that it has been very easy to use, I like the fact that I can vertually leave it ready for use - just fill the tank with warm water and then it is ready to go!!!
Also very easy to clean afterwards.

- The water spray on the attachments for the upholstery is a little too wide, but that might just be for my furniture - I was using it on the arm of the sofa at the time.

+ Good design and cleaned very well. No excess spillage as with some cleaners.

- The machine was too heavy to be used by the average person
When the vacuum was turned off to refill, there was leakage of dirty water from the two intakes, which required difficult hand removal of the two stains which occurred.
The machine was returned to store and a full refund received.

+ Cleans well, without wetting too much. Easy to use and operate.

- The hand tool sprays too much water all at once when cleaning stairs/car etc.!

Very good cleaner, we were impressed with the results.

+ soap mixed on board, just fill with hot water, you are cleaning in minutes. carpets are dry within the hour.

- The machine constantly sucks at the carpet, which then doesn't get wet enough (the solution can penetrate deep enough) requiring multiple passes. Would work better if suction could be turned off or diverted until carpet scrubed then applied to remove dirt. The small embossed panel to hide the screws doesn't stay stuck on.
