Vax VZL-6015 Mach 5 Reviews: , Upright, Bagless Vacuum cleaner

+ Has very good suction and picks up very well.
The small hand tool is very useful.
I really like the light on the front.
It can be used on hard floor surfaces as well as different carpet thicknesses.
The cord rewind is useful.

- It is extremely heavy compared to our previous vacuum, I got armache due to the heaviness and the suction being very strong.
It is a bit fiddly having to manually adjust the brushes to suit the length of carpet/type of floor as you are vacuuming.
Whilst I thought having a cord rewind was useful, it is situated very low down and the cord drags on the floor in front of you and needs to constantly be lifted out of the way.

+ Suction good, equipmet easy to assemble (my 10 year old assembled it). The equipmet worked well on the carpet as weel as the hard floor, the small attachment was excellent for the car. Another good thig is the attachments are stored on the equipment

- I found this heavy, it topples over if it is not wedged against something especially when vaccuming the stairs

- Very heavy to push and when using extension hose it falls over - have to wedge it against something to prevent this.

+ Turbo tool very effective in combating pet hair. Power and performance is very good. The cord storage facility is very handy. Being able to see the roller rotating and thus being able to see blockages quickly and remove them.

- it doesnt pick up that good,u have to keep going over the same spot a few times,and its no good on lino

- The machine is far too heavy and combersome when in use. The brush on/off has to be done manually.Really wish had not purshaced it at all.

+ Long lead reaches every corner of my flat when plugged into socket in my hallway. The power of suction made me realise how Ineffient my old vacuum cleaner was.

- very heavy to push and carry.dont like the way the cord hang on the floor when you are hoover you have to be very careful not to run over it.

+ I have three young children, a husband, a border collie and two cats and it picks up all their mess brilliantly!

- The flex comes out quite low down so you have to hold onto it to avoid hoovering over it and it does tend to tip when using the hose and tools.

- the machine is very heavy.has a short hose ,so when cleaning it falls over and parts have broken off in one week of purchase.now covered in tape holding it together,its very fiddly.

- Very heavy, hose pipe not long enough when using tools + falls over alot when using hose pipe/tools. Leaves blue plastic scuff marks on skirting etc.

+ QUIETER THAN MY OTHER VAC. CATS DO NOT RUN AND HIDE. TOOLS DO NOT FALL OFF OR CATCH ON THINGS WHEN USEING THE MACHINE. NOT TOO HEAVY BUT HEAVY ENOUGH NOT TO FALL OVER WHEN USEING WITH HOSE. GREAT FOR GRANITE TYPE UNEVEN PATTERN TILES ON FLOOR. GOOD ON FURNITURE REMOVING CAT HAIRS.

- THE CABLE KEEPS GETTING IN THE WAY WHEN USEING VAC. TOO CLOSE TO THE FLOOR. HAVE TO WIND IT ROUND THE HANDLE AND HOLD ON TO IT SO I DO NOT RUN OVER IT.
