the glossy effect on the keyboards, makes it look dirty after touching...even when your hands are clean

+ Have not tested the battery life yet. Starts up quickly. Quiet. Clear display. Switches between Windows quickly. No major problems.

- Taking forever to get used to the locations of the PGUP/DN and END keys, but that's probably just me. Also touchpads drive me nuts as being so easy to trigger unwanted actions, but again that's a personal thing and I have not explored the Synaptics settings,

- very few. battery life isn't as good as i had hoped. a small point is that the touchpad is not horizontally centred, meaning that i often end up scrolling instead of moving the pointer

- Gets dusty quickly and you can see lots of fingerprints on it. Battery life is not great, lasts about 1 and half hours - 2hours max.

+ This is a brilliant laptop. I was a little wary of buying a recon but there is not a mark on it anywhere. I would definately recommend it.

+ Perfect size, excellent value.

+ Neat design - no wasted space on the keyboard and surrounding frame. Excellent performance - handles Vista very comfortably. Wireless access excellent. Sharp graphics and easy to view screen. Looks and feels much more substantial and classy than competitors' brands including those in a much higher price bracket.

- Can't think of any bad points

+ machine works well, looks good, connects to all other devices as required, weighs very little and yet is a proper laptop (not netbook) with optical drive (silent!) and decent screensize.

- Windows Vista - would have preferred XP
